Achievements

iDEA Foundation was formed and formally registered during the peak of COVID-19 pandemic, which kept its activities limited to a few webinars and publications in the online and print media. Following are the list of activities undertaken by iDEA Foundation and its executive committee members.

1. On January 16, 2021, iDEA Foundation organized a webinar titled “Capital Market in Bangladesh: Way forward in long-term financing”. Mr. Tipu Munshi, M.P. and the Honorable Minister for the Ministry of Commerce, Government of The People’s Republic of Bangladesh, attended the program as the Chief Guest.  Mr. Arif Khan, MD & CEO, IDLC made the key-note presentation.
2. On April 10, 2021, iDEA organized a webinar titled “The Digital Journey of Bangladesh".
3. On May, 2020, iDEA wrote an Op-Ed on the Dhaka Tribune titled “How do we attract FDI in the time of corona?”       
4. On July 26, iDEA hosted a public talk on “Partnership for Sustainability” with SIMEC Institute of Technology. 
5. On August, 2020, the Secretary and Vice President of iDEA Foundation wrote an article on the Daily Start titled “Force majeure could be the way out from coronavirus fallout”.

 

MOU with SIMEC

Recently iDEA Foundation and SIMEC signed a MOU for Joint Venture Programme. The signing programme was held on 30 March at iDEA office, BSEC Bhaban (Level-4), 102, Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka – 1215. EC members of iDEA Foundation and the guests from SIMEC were present at signing ceremony. There were presentation on iDEA Foundation and SIMEC. The members and guests present were-
