Md. Delwar Hussain was born at Surjamoni, Mathbaria, Pirojpur in 1955. He has complited his Bsc (Hons), Msc in Physics from University of Dhaka, in 1979. He got diploma in Youth and Development held in Chandighar India in 1980. As a professional he joined Bangladesh Scouts as Assistant Field Commissioner. He has to organize Training programmes for boys and adult leaders, planning new programmes and its implementation, organize outdoor programmes & camps for Scouts, conducting and designing Community Development Programme for Volunteer & Professional Leaders, preparing Annual Report etc.
He joined SOS Children’s village in 1981 and performed his job up to 1995 as Youth Village Director, Village Director of Dhaka Village. In 1998 he joined Bangladesh Scouts as a Project Director of Cub Scout Expansion Project under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and worked for about 10 years. He has his Scout Training of different stages. He is now a Leader Trainer of Bangladesh Scouts. He was awarded the highest award in Rover Scouting “President’s Rover Scout Award” in 1979. He was also awarded the highest award of adult leaders of Bangladesh Scouts namely “Silver Tiger”.
